Electric Gate Installers

Sliding gates

Sliding gates are the ideal closure for very wide entrances or access points located in ascent (in which case a swing gate could not open inwards). This type of automation is also recommended when there is not sufficient space inside the property to enable opening of swing gate leafs.

The sliding gate requires a long and narrow area along which the gate slides during opening.

The automation for sliding gates comprises a motor with toothed wheel mounting a rack and pinion assembly fixed to the gate.

This particular type of automation is equipped with sensitive edges, fundamental to operation as they enable immediate shutdown of the gate on detection of any risk of “crushing”.
